# Rewards and Earnings

**How are rewards accumulated into MATICX?**

Native rewards on staking Matic are calculated basis [this](https://wallet.polygon.technology/staking/rewards-calculator) rewards calculator on the Polygon website. Stader smart contracts accumulate the rewards offered natively from the staked MATIC & restake them into the smart contract once a day increasing the MATICX exchange rate. New MATICX tokens are only minted when a user deposits equivalent amount of MATIC into our smart contract.

**How can I calculate my earnings?**

When MATICX is multiplied by the exchange rate, it gives the current worth of MATIC. If you subtract the original MATIC amount invested from this, you get your earnings.

**Is Stader going to integrate with DeFi platforms?**

We are working on integrations with various yield aggregators, lending protocols etc for MATICX.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://polygon.docs.staderlabs.com/polygon-staking-on-stader/rewards-and-earnings.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
